         <description><![CDATA[<p>In URA LJ, presenter shared that during public engagement sessions, various GEN AI apps will be used to collect feedback, consolidate and generate responses, let “ mid journey” app to generate futuristic images of places based on the responses collected. Though there are limitations, this create conversation starters which is more engaging. </p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>From the SingHealth sharing, I learnt about the use of extended reality technology to overlay MRI images during surgery, helping clinicians with precision. </p><p><br/></p><p>I also saw how automation of routine tasks, such as case writing, can free up time for more meaningful face-to-face consultations. </p><p><br/></p><p>Lastly, the sharing highlighted the use of remote consulting to support triage and manage simpler medical cases effectively.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>In Shoppe, we learnt that Shoppe looks into 4 aspects: Hyper localisation (e.g. serving local needs such as Ramadan in Singapore), digital inclusive (e.g. include sellers from rural community), user eccentricity (needs of stakeholders like buyers, sellers, delivery etc) and digital skills development (for employees, talent and brands). </p><p><br/></p><p>Shoppe infuse AI extensively in their culture:</p><p>1) Chat bot (24 hrs)- for buyers, agents, businesses</p><p>2) Active maintain of knowledge based data- to personalise task flow, intent prediction, live agent control-- even with enhanced tone with emoji, greeting with human voice- answers ran through ChatGPT with correct tone, format</p><p>3) AI Generation Content--- that can enhance background image, superimpose AI model into produce (e.g. T-shirt), spotlights the product, highlights selling point. Sellers can also generate static images into videos. Shoppe helps sellers to adopt AI to sell their products.</p><p>4) AI shopping assistants -- understand the user's needs, recommend products, compare products, etc</p><p>5) Stronger multimodal capability: extensive use of LLM (large language model); e.g. embed social trends (e.g. certain lip sticks). Detects moments of buyer hesitation, repeat browsing, or intent etc. Identify persona of user (e.g. new mother, 30 plus); hence automatic propose specific shopping advice.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Implications:</p><p>1)&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; There is always a need to develop a mindset within our students (drive) to embrace new technologies (since technologies keep changing).</p><p>2)&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Bigger companies like Shoppe do adopt internal push to upskill employees towards AI such as internal chatgpt course, Gemini course etc. We can certainly help our students to achieve some basic understanding and appreciation.</p><p>3)&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; While the hard core skills can be learnt on the job, there are still extensive soft skills/attributes that are still much sort after: Mindset, data analytic skills, team player, interaction/ collaboration skills, eager to learn, to excel and ambitious. Our T&amp;L needs to provide more of such opportunities for our students.</p>]]></description>

Reduces the number of visits to polyclinic, hospitals. </p><p><br/></p><p>Using speech automation to reduces the time that doctors need to document the conversation.
