From this, she decided to establish her foundation, Poetic Justice. 2.) The help inmates receive from the foundation aids in keeping their sanity and help with any hurdle they are trying to come over. 
3.)The foundation can assist in sending college applications for some of the younger females. ]]> 2018-12-19 16:53:20 UTC https://padlet.com/lgonza8056/r778bfnfm0p8/wish/315933920 Interview Central Ideas lgonza8056 https://padlet.com/lgonza8056/r778bfnfm0p8/wish/315933945 In 2013, Ellen Stackable came across a thought-provoking topic.  She learns her state Oklahoma holds the most detained females in the whole country.  Then in 2014, she decided to make a program called Poetic Justice to provide women writing classes.  She began with one program in a prison but has spread to 5 different jail. 

She has thankfully reached out to about 2,500 women.

Tina, from one of the programs, has received a 30 year long sentence at age 20.  She began her addiction of methamphetamine at 13 and has served 3 years so far.  A quote from Tina  is, “Ellen is fantastic, she has helped through so much...she was there for me, and I owe her a lot.”  Tina  has obtained a valedictorian scholarship and was given free tuition for college.
