There had been a dramatic increase in control over my body as I started growing intellectually. When I was going from preschool to kindergarten, it was a rough transition as a kid as I had to make new friends and leave my old friends. This was very hard for me because I had to leave my best friends as knowing them for two whole  years and at that time it felt like a really long time. I learned to read, write and solve math questions. These basic skills have helped me throughout my life in everyday situations. The first time I lost a family member was when my grandpa passed away. I was not very young as I was about 10 years old at the time and so I knew what was happening. At this age, it was hard seeing people with their grandparents, and me with only one. Eventually, as I are grew older I began to understand and realized I did not value moments I had with my grandpa and took them for granted. I also slowly accepted the fact that he was gone and nothing was going to change that. Where unfortunately I dislocated my elbow. When this happened it felt as if everything was moving in slow motion. I remember not being able to lift my left arm as it felt ever so heavy. Additionally, when I got a x-ray, the doctor had to transfer me to Sick Kids to go get surgery. This was also the first time I got surgery, which was exciting but also scary at the same time. I recall that right before my surgery I was asking many questions about the procedure and exactly what they were going to do. I love how the intensity and the adrenaline I felt before and during a race. The feeling is just great! I also participated in track and field events where in 2016 I won the cities 800m race .
