         <description><![CDATA[<ol><li><p>Mr. Yao put the motel on the market. This made Mia try to find investors from all over to invest in the Cavalista, and to also buy the Cavalista.</p></li><li><p>Mia got investors from so many places,  including the runner ups of the Vermont Motel Giveaway, close family, and the weeklies who often come to the Cavalista.  </p></li><li><p> Over a course of about two months Mia had gotten checks written up to 50,000 dollars. Mr. Yao had at first said that he had a offer from more well- off people, but eventually gave in a gave the hotel to them for 300,000 dollars.</p></li></ol>]]></description>

Earlier in the book, Mia felt discourage because her Mom didn't think she could be a good writer, and proved her wrong.</p><p><br><br></p>]]></description>
