         <description><![CDATA[<div><br><strong><em>Date:</em></strong> April 1775<br><strong><em>Location:</em></strong> Massachusetts, first shot at concord<br><strong><em>Recap in your own words</em></strong>: Boston is right on the coastline of Massachusetts, The British soldiers start marching to concord to steal ammunition and on there way there were rioters, screaming the British are coming! Wentworth Cheswell went to town. British continue marching, 300 colonists ready and armed to stop British soldiers.<br><strong><em>Who won and why:<br></em></strong>The colonists win and chase the British out of concord and back to Boston. THIS SPARKS UP THE REVELOTION!! "This big shot heard round the world."-Ralph waldo Emmerson. (This starts the revolution.) This is called shot heard round the world because everyone is going to hear about this war!!<br><br></div>]]></description>

Living conditions were very poor. Females would make clothing for the men. The soldiers that came aren't actually soldiers so they need to get taught. Marquis de layette tries teaching them about cleaning. George Washington took them to this camp because he wanted a well trained army. There was 10,000 men! The French came and they began training, they improved! The crisis by Tomas Paine encouraged the people to fight for their rights!<br>(valley forge train for wars.)<br><br></div>]]></description>

The British were going to send soldiers to take over the 2 hills, they had the high ground so they were able to see. The colonists decided to take all the ammunition and people and took the 2 hills overnight they dig up the hill and made a wall. In the morning the British get ready for battle the colonists are at the top of a hill., "do not shot unit they see an eye." The British are shooting uphill which is bad for them.
