 We prepare a square grid of lines 5 x 6 (each square 15 cm x 15 cm) with chalk or
paint on the floor, preferably outside in the schoolyard.
 We print twice the 17 icons of the Sustainability Development Goals (SDGs)
 One set of the 17 icons is used to mark 17 squares of the floor grid and the second
set is used as game cards.
 Each child selects randomly one card from the game set that depicts an icon of the
SDGs.
 The child tries to remember the symbolized goal and finds the matching icon placed
on the floor grid.
There are three different variations of the game, depending on the level of students’
expertise or the use of Beebot:
(a) The child uses cards with arrows (forward, backward, right, left) to represent the steps
that are needed to reach the square of the matching icon on the floor grid, and executes the
designed route.
(b) The child presents verbally the steps (forward, backward, right, left) that are needed to
reach the square of the matching icon on the floor grid, and executes the designed route.
(c) Beebot can be used on the floor grid moving towards the matching icon.
