Sapete cosa fece un giorno San Nicola? Si dice che, quand’era già vescovo, fece resuscitare tre bambini che un macellaio cattivo,  aveva ucciso e fatto a pezzi per venderne la carne. Una cosa molto brutta aveva fatto quel macellaio, per fortuna intervenne San Nicola. Nicola nacque in Medio Oriente attorno all’anno 270 d.C. da una famiglia nobile. Rimasto orfano, usò i propri averi per aiutare i più poveri. Divenne quindi sacerdote per poi diventare vescovo della città di Myra, in Licia.
A lui vengono attribuiti numerosi miracoli: dalla resurrezione di tre bambini uccisi all’aver calmato una tempesta in mare.
