         <title>T-  Quite honestly - I don&#39;t use it very well because it costs time .... I don&#39;t have time to document every misbehavior or to call parents.  We need to have a quicker more direct way to gather data.   Also there&#39;s no administrative follow up... how do we know what happens beyond our experience.   We never see the data.   Students think it&#39;s a joke.    Perhaps actually taking actions such as suspension for chronic misbehavior would be more appropriate.   It is also aggravating that nothing happens in terms of their overall behaviors.   If they have 4 tardies in my class they may have 4 in all of their classes .... that&#39;s 20 or more that should be on their overall record.   Is anyone keeping track of that?     </title>

         <title>T- I have seen PBIS in action it is a very good way to manage. The problem is that it has to be set in stone what the actual rule is and punishment and every staff member has to follow the same rule. It has not been effective here and students are still having problems following cell phone, bathroom breaks, and tardies. Students use the excuse well so and so teacher lets us do it. It needs to be a strict rule. Memorial was on the news for how well their cell phone policy works and I have heard from numerous people they have no issues with cell phone. PBIS can work we just need to make tweaks to it and all be dedicated to enforcing them.</title>

         <title>T- The recording system we currently hae in place is way too cumbersome for the classroom teacher.  We already have too many other new initiatives (not to mention those coming down the line in the near future) to remain effective.  Students know there are too many minor offenses that are allowable before anything will &quot;happen&quot; and they take advantage of the system.  The data collection process must be streamlined and stricter consequences in place for the first violation if this will ever achieve what it is set out to do. </title>
