It also help’s us to use tools for understanding social life as well as using models, concepts, and arguments to understand the social structures, processes, and interactions. It's not just a single, unified theory but, it is a collection of diverse perspectives and approaches.

This theory focuses more on individual potential, emphasizing self-actualization and free will. It’s different than the other theories because it prioritize the personal experience, self-determination, and the inherent goodness of people. With humanistic theory we believe that people have unlimited potential for growth and development, as well as being capable of determining truth and the lies through rational thought.

What theory keeps me motivated

I believe humanistic theory keeps me motivated the reason why is because I like to find out the truth behind the lies. Growing up I always liked to speak facts and got in trouble for it and as an adult now I speak facts and the truth. I dislike when people lie and doing exactly tell the truth and I still find out the truth. It can help keep me motivated on my goals because I can help others out on finding the truth or being there for someone when they need me.

Positive reinforcement can help me because it helps knowing I have people on my side. My husband helps to make sure I have the positive reinforcement by just being there for me. It also helps when I see my grades and I’m passing with school because I dropped out two other times the first time wasn’t my fault but the second time I dropped out because my job wouldn’t work with me.

The other one is goal setting and the reason why is because if I set goals I know I can do it and make it work. I set a goal back in April to go to Georgia to see my family at the end of this month and I made that goal come true. My most recent goal now is to pass my classes and graduate college. I have this goal set because I want my husband and I to have better lives.
