The line in the song that says, "Even If I knew my place should I leave it there?Should I give up
Or should I just keep chasing pavements?" indicates to me that this person knows what they are meant to do and yet they're having this internal battle where they're not sure if they should give up or to actually keep at it and do what they were set out to do. I also feel as if that line perfectly coincides with the Alchemist when talking about his personal legend who says, " You dream about your sheep and the Pyramids, but you're different from me, because you want to realize your dreams. I just want to dream about Mecca." So in both works this person knows what they're supposed to do but it's now become a battle of whether to realize that dream or give up on it. So, I don't feel it would be helpful to add quotes from the book but rather a general overview of his journey.  I feel as if the section of the song that goes, " It started out as a feeling Which then grew into a hope
 Which then turned into a quiet thought Which then turned into a quiet word And then that word grew louder and louder 'Til it was a battle cry," perfectly shows how Santiago at first only had an inkling of what his Personal Legend was but as he continued to search it became more and more obvious to him what it was until the point where he knew exactly what it was and how throughout it all his hope continued to grow until he was confident that he would fulfill his Personal Legend. Also the part that goes, " You'll come back when it's over
 No need to say goodbye," shows to me how he had to live Fatima but there was no need for a final goodbye because he planned on coming back to her once he had accomplished his Personal Legend. Finally, the line that says, "Now we're back to the beginning," portrays how in the end Santiago ended up right where he first had the dream that sent him on his journey and how that was where he was meant to be all along.

I feel as if the line in the book, " It was my fear of failure that first kept me from attempting my Master Work. Now, I'm beginning what I could have started ten years ago," which was said by the Englishman, also illustrates this idea that fear can cause a lot of harm and stop you from accomplishing things that would have given you great happiness.
