         <description><![CDATA[<div>1. Models can help ESOL and SWD visual concepts. Many times these students are reading or hearing about new ideas but they struggle to visual the concept. A model can help students see the concepts.<br>2. Models also allow teachers to differentiate for different students. You can push a student by asking them to refine an incorrect model or help a struggling student by providing them a template to build off of. </div>]]></description>

         <title>Robin Osborn
It is important for students to learn how to develop and refine models so that students can see other representations of what they are learning about. This allows them to see the concept from other sides. 

It is also important to be able to revise models so that they can troubleshoot potential problems with a model, and correct them from the outside.  This thinking allows them to see the big picture, and not just the individual pieces.</title>

Students need to be able to use models to make sense of an unfamiliar, complex, or abstract idea.</div>]]></description>
