Target Audience:

The program targets youth workers across my country, particularly those working with marginalized and vulnerable populations, including youth with disabilities, youth in rural areas, and those facing socio-economic challenges. The program is open to both new and experienced youth workers, including those from NGOs, community organizations, schools, and government institutions involved in youth work.

This program aligns with the broader mission of empowering youth workers to develop their skills, knowledge, and emotional resilience while promoting inclusivity and collaboration in their work. The vision is to cultivate a highly skilled and motivated community of youth workers who are equipped to lead inclusive, innovative, and sustainable initiatives that positively impact youth, particularly vulnerable populations.

Program Objectives:

1. Enhance Professional Competencies: Provide youth workers with advanced tools and methodologies for effective youth engagement, leadership, and program development.

2. Support Emotional Well-being: Help youth workers manage job-related stress, prevent burnout, and build emotional resilience to maintain long-term dedication to their work.

3. Promote Inclusive Practices: Equip youth workers with the skills and knowledge to design and implement programs that are inclusive of youth from all backgrounds, particularly those with disabilities or from marginalized communities.

4. Foster Innovation and Sustainability: Encourage youth workers to design innovative, sustainable programs that address current societal challenges such as unemployment, mental health, and digital inclusion.

5. Build Advocacy Skills: Empower youth workers to advocate for youth rights and influence youth-related policies on local, national, and international levels.

3. National Peer Networking Forum:

• Collaborative Learning: Opportunities for youth workers to connect and collaborate with their peers through an online platform and regional in-person meetups. This forum encourages knowledge-sharing and collaboration on projects that address specific youth challenges.

• Annual Conference: A national gathering of youth workers to exchange ideas, present case studies, and discuss emerging trends and challenges in youth work. The conference would also offer space for recognition of outstanding contributions.

4. Innovation & Sustainability Lab:

• Youth Work Innovation Grants: A component that encourages youth workers to submit innovative project ideas addressing current youth issues (e.g., youth unemployment, mental health, social inclusion). Selected projects would receive small grants and mentoring support for implementation.

Self-Assessment Workshops with YOCOMO Tool: Conduct workshops on using the YOCOMO Self-Assessment Tool for personal and professional development.

Networking and Collaboration Events: Organize events to connect youth workers with EU programs and opportunities for collaboration.

Objectives: To strengthen the professional identity and competencies of youth workers. To promote the recognition of youth work at self, social, political, and formal levels. To ensure consistent quality standards across youth work practices.

Activities: Organizing training and certification workshops for youth workers. Facilitating peer learning and exchange through Erasmus+ mobility projects. Developing quality assurance tools and guidelines. Conducting advocacy meetings with policymakers to promote formal recognition.
