For Rousey's third birthday, all she wanted was a WWF Hulk Hogan Wrestling Buddy; but the only problem was that she couldn't say "Hulk Hogan", all she could say was "Blargin". Her parents took her to every toy store imaginable, but no luck, no Blargin. They we starting to give up hope, they headed to one last toy store, they went up to a worker at the Toys R Us and Ronda told him what she wanted, and somehow he just knew what is meant, a few minuets later he was back with her WWF Hulk Hogan wrestling buddy. Through out the months of having the toy, it was already falling apart, Ronda was constantly wrestling with it, Ronda states, "I eventually ripped of his arm... my mom sewed it back on with dental floss." He was in a lot of physical pain but didnt show it. Eventually they found out that the pain would only get worse because his spine was deteriorating, and in a year or less he would either be completely paralyzed or in permanent excruciating pain. Even though her dad loved his family dearly and they loved and supported him through everything, he decided that taking his own life was the only option. As soon as i hit the ground i knew my left foot was broken." full of determination, Ronda continued to skip and limped to the food market near her school.
