The blue watercolor stood out as well as the black oil pastel. My second attempt to make a monotype, it did not work so well. The first time I tried to print it out the top half did not come out. The second one came out much better but I had let the oil pastel dry for too long and the paper got stuck to the plastic plate and ripped pieces of the paper. I did not apply enough pressure to it. My second monotype came out really good, I used the right amount of ink and came out just how I wanted it. It was a long carving process but at the end it came out better than i expected. The images to the right are some of the prints I liked the best & came out good. The images to the right did not come out as I hoped. I was mad at first because I thought it would not work but I got it to work and it came out better than in thought. These are my best two prints.
