         <description><![CDATA[<div>          She was the daughter of Henry Vlll and Anne Boleyn.Her half brother Edward Vl ruled until his death in 1553.He then left the power to his cousin Lady Jane Grey, ignoring his two half sisters, Elizabeth and the Roman Catholic Mary.But Mary still became the queen in spite of statute law to the contrary.During Mary's reign, Elizabeth was imprisoned for nearly a year on suspicion of supporting Protestant rebels. In 1558, Elizabeth succeeded her half-sister to the throne and became queen of England.When queen, she dependent heavily on a group of trusted advisors , led by William Cecil, 1st Baron Burghley.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; One of her first actions as queen was the establishment of an English Protestant church, of which she became the Supreme Governor. In government, Elizabeth was more moderate than her father and half-siblings had been. In religion she was relatively tolerant and avoided systematic persecution.After the pope declared her illegitimate in 1570 and released her subjects from obedience to her, several conspiracies threatened her life, all of which were defeated with the help of her ministers' secret service. In 1562, Elizabeth almost dies of smallpox.Then on March 24,1603 Elizabeth passes away from blood poisoning.</div>]]></description>

She was a wonderful independent women who was queen from 1558 to her death in 1603.She was also remembered for the church that she opened, the English Protestant Church.</div>]]></description>
