On the other hand, climate change can be anything from minor changes in wind patterns, all the way to uprisings in tsunamis, droughts, floods, and what not. This is an outcome of the excessive greenhouse gases we humans emit, that make their way to the ozone layer, and trap more and more of the infrared rays that are meant to escape the Earth’s lower atmosphere. This heats the Earth up more than it’s supposed to be heated up, and ends up causing droughts on land, melting of polar ice caps out at sea, which cause floods, rising sea levels, and other natural disasters.

Climate change and global warming are comparable topics that share similarities however global warming addresses the rising temperatures of earth's surface while climate change addresses changing weather patterns along with changing temperatures.

The sun supplies earth with heat and radiation and the earth absorbs or emits radiation to maintain a balance. Certain greenhouse gasses including carbon dioxide, methane, water vapor etc trap heat within earth’s atmosphere.

The greenhouse effect is a phenomenon through which certain greenhouse gases in our atmosphere trap the sun's heat and make the earth warm & fit for life to exist at all times. This process is also the main idea behind greenhouses. The process is essential for human survival but shall be dangerous after a point. Greenhouse gases like carbon dioxide & methane are present in the atmosphere in required amounts, but due to increased industrial activity, these gases are present in excess quantities in the atmosphere. With the surge of these greenhouse gases, more heat is trapped in the atmosphere making the earth warmer than required. This has caused a spike in global temperatures in the past jubilee and this surge doesn't seem to be coming down. Mankind must understand the intensity and urgency of this issue and take cohesive approaches and measures that incorporate sustainability, technology, and modernity. It's high time we take action or else it's now or never.

Think of it like this: you're in bed, and you keep piling on blankets even though you're already warm. Eventually, you'll get too hot, right? That's what's happening to our planet.
