         <title>Trust vs Mistrust</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<ul><li><p>Trust vs. Mistrust is the first stage of Erickson's timeline. It begins at birth and lasts until 18 months. Baby develop wether world is safe place or not. They rely on mothers or caregivers to feed them and interact with them, and lack of care will lead to mistrust. </p></li><li><p>"A child who first successfully developed a sense of trust would be in a particularly good position to develop this strength." on pg 14. </p></li><li><p>When I was a baby I don't remember much but I was told by my mom that I was a happy baby. I used to live in joint family and everyone loved me a lot. All my need were met and I trusted everyone in my family. </p></li></ul>]]></description>

         <title>Autonomy vs Shame and Doubt</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<ul><li><p>2nd Stage begins at age 18 months to 3 yrs. Child develops personal control and learns to be independent. During this stage children start to learn how to be independent and praising them sets them for strong autonomy and not praising make them feel shameful. </p></li><li><p>"After all, if you feel that others have your back, you are likely to try new things and thus develop new skills. By contrast, if you feel alone and uncertain, you can still develop autonomy, but it is more difficult. Ideally, each stage builds on the preceding one." on pg 13.</p></li><li><p>In this stage my parents used to potty train me and encourage me and because of that encouragement i was good to go potty myself after little bit training. </p></li></ul>]]></description>

         <title>Initiative vs. Guilt</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<ul><li><p>3rd stage begins at preschool years from 3 to 5 years. In this stage child learns to explore new thing while playing with interacting. They feel even more independent. Discouraging them with make them feel guilty about why are they doing things on their own. </p></li><li><p>"At the same time, they are learning that some of the things they want to do meet social approval, whereas others do not." pg 210.</p></li><li><p>When I was 4 years old I used help mom with little chores, she used to give me little tasks and I felt really proud doing them. </p><p><br/></p></li></ul>]]></description>

         <title>Industry vs. Inferiority</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<ul><li><p>During this stage children are looking for raise from their teacher, friends, family, and coaches. If they get praise they feel proud of what they are doing, and not getting praise can lead to inferiority. </p></li><li><p>"If children are unable to obtain the praise of others or lack motivation and self-esteem, they may develop a feeling of low self-worth and thus develop a sense of inferiority." pg 275.</p></li><li><p>I was never into sports in middle school because I wasn't encouraged by family and friends. Even in class I was scared to speak up because I was never praised by my teacher. </p></li></ul>]]></description>

         <title>Identity vs. Identity Confusion</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<ul><li><p>During this stage teens develop sense of personal identity. They are trying to figure out where they fit in. This identity will be with them for rest of their life. </p></li><li><p> "Psychosocial development in which an adolescent seeks to develop a coherent sense of self, including the role she or he is to play in society." pg 336. </p></li><li><p>I middle school I wasn't sure what I wanted to do in life I wasn't sure what the purpose of life is, but my family was always there to help me. Also after looking at my sister growing up and actually having purpose in life she gave me motivation to do something. </p></li></ul>]]></description>

         <title>Intimacy vs. Isolation</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<ul><li><p>During this stage they build healthy relationships with family friends and others, and if there aren't healthy relationships in life they feel isolated. </p></li><li><p>"Intimacy and stability of friendships increase during middle childhood. Boys tend to have more friends, whereas girls tend to have closer friends." pg 295.</p></li><li><p>I used to have so many friends in high school. Texting all of them and keeping in touch with them was hard. So, I stopped texting them and realized I was the only one whi cared for them and they didn't care for me as much. Now I figured who my real friends are and have healthy relationship with my family and friends. </p></li></ul>]]></description>

         <title>Generativity vs. Stagnation </title>

         <description><![CDATA[<ul><li><p>During this stage you start to feel responsible for others and care about your close ones. You feel accomplishment in life. Feeling unhappy can lead to stagnation.</p></li><li><p>"Mature adult is concerned with establishing and guiding the next generation or else feel impoverishment." pg 13.</p></li><li><p>I haven't hit that age but my father is a great example he is very happy with his life and taking care of his family. He always there us whenever we need him. </p><p><br/></p></li></ul>]]></description>

         <title>Ego Integrity vs. Despair</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<ul><li><p>During this stage you reflect on your life and you are happy you feel pride, and if you are not happy you feel despair.</p></li><li><p>"Elderly person achieves acceptance of own life, allowing acceptance to death, or else despairs over inability to relive life." pg 13.</p></li><li><p>I don't have experience with this stage but my grandma is a great example, she such a sweet person she's always happy for everyone and I can tell she feels pride in her life by just looking at her. </p></li></ul>]]></description>
