Currently, the youth has taken over most of the food service industry and most don't require the extra money to live. I believe a small increase every couple of years is a good idea by Newson rather than increasing it immediately.


The 2014 ordinance was a good way to increase the minimum wage gradually knowing it was going to need to be increased eventually.


A $22 minimum wage cap is a good wage for fast food workers. For the amount of labor required it is not necessary to have such a high pay. The youth continues to flood the fast food industry and most adults take on fast food as a second job. I feel a $18 wage is good pay for fast food workers.

California is known for its expensive housing and cost of living. I was unaware of Massachusetts's high minimum wage, but the same reasons as California probably caused it.


Individual states should control the minimum wage as the cost of living differs across all states. It should not be regulated federally as it would not be able to represent every state as they all have their economy. However, if it were to be implemented, a fair minimum wage, in my opinion, would still be $15 for all employers.

I like my tortas simply so the ingredients we used were perfect for me. Visually it was good too, avocado is one of my favorite foods and you can tell by how it's overflowing.
