Problem solving capabilities to complete assessments.
Writing skills to complete the tasks and assessments to the appropriate level.
Reading capabilities to read the resources available and in a way the ensures learning has happened.
Communication skills with the tutor to ensure on track and asking for help or support when needed.
Developing new skills and techniques to better assist  learners.
