Today discuss with my Cultural Officer Madam Noor Hayati about event in this week.

For this week the culture UMK have study tours at state of Johor, Melaka and Kuala Lumpur. The event is 'Apresiasi Seni Budaya 
Selatan'. 

This study tours is to learn the art of dance in the state and also others art like theater, music, custome.

The study tours start at 15 February 2017 (Wednesday) untill 18 February 2017 (Sunday).

Today I learn a something new about how to faxs formal letter to others university or any company requirment. 

The letters must faxed to 18 university in Malaysia. This letter for 'Jemputan Bengkel Warisan Zapin Salor dan Hanuman Salor Makum2017'. After faxs we must post the original letter to every university for join this event.

Today students gathered early at 8am to transfer to University Teknologi Malaysia at Sukdai Johor for study tours 'Apresiasi Seni Budaya Selatan'. We going to UTM Skudai Johor by UMK bus.

Today is second day for study tours programme 'Apresiasi  Seni Budaya Selatan'. Today we have dance and music workshop from  UTM cultural student. 

We learn new dance from UTM cultural student namely 'Zapin Selat Panjang'. Beside that, music student can learn music namely 'Keroncong' from UTM band.

We also share our dance to UTM cultural student which is 'Rebana Kercing' dance. Rebana Kercing dance is folk dance from Kampung Laut Tumpat Kelantan. This dance of religious and remembrances.

In afternoon, we going to ex student UMK house for visiting the sick student because of febrile convulsions. The name ex student UMK is Mohd Ruzaini Bin Abdullah. He is a first batch student at Universiti Malaysia Kelantan.

At 7pm we are going to Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka.

Good day everyone. Tonight we are stay and take a rest at Emerald Park hostel at Melaka.

At time 10am we have music workshop Dondang Sayang, dance and introduction about tourism in Melaka. The workshop place at Dewan Pusat Siswazah UTeM.

The talk will give from Mr. Jefri bin Munir (Pengarah Kementerian Pelancongan dan Kebudayaan Negeri Melaka), Pak Baharin (Pengasas dan Karyawan Muzik Dondang Sayang) and Madam Noriah (Pengarah Unit Kebudayaan ISMA).

Have a great day everyone. Today we stay and take a rest at Kolej Kediaman 4 Universiti Malaya before we going to ASWARA for watch show theater.

We are going to ASWARA at time 5.30pm. The theater show will start at 8pm. We go early because worried about traffic jammed. 

The title of theater is "THRONEN of THORNS". This theater intructions from Norzizi Zulkifli. The actor is from Australia student.
