The term climate gentrification was recently developed to describe how climate change is influencing the classic gentrification cycle. Great elevation locations in Miami are now in high demand, placing strain on the communities that have lived there for decades. Residents are being driven out of higher elevation locations, which are more vulnerable to climate change and sea level rise. However, not everyone believes that the City of Miami is experiencing a cycle of climate gentrification. This video examines if climate gentrification is already altering Miami, what it would mean for people, and what the city is prepared to do about it. What drew my attention to this was the fact that the individuals being driven out of Little Haiti, There is overwhelming proof that locals are already suffering the consequences of climate change, from larger storms to hotter days. However, for some inhabitants, climate change is manifesting itself in an unexpected new way, development pressures.

It is very interesting because diseases arise as a result of the pollution that exists in the world from what we breathe and people die as a result. The people of St. James Parish, Louisiana have had to live that reality for decades as a result of toxic pollution from plastic manufacturing plants. Watch how Sharon Lavigne, the 2021 Goldman Environmental Prize winner, depicts the struggle to defend their town. and draw attention to it so that everything returns to normal, despite the fact that many people try to conceal it, We all know that the world is destroying itself every day as a result of man and his inventions, and that what we breathe is chemical. the people protecting America’s communities against environmental degradation and racism.

The energy produced in the US will be considerably greener in the near future. By 2050, the nation wants to have roughly half of its electricity produced by solar power alone. However, we cannot just construct solar power plants where coal and gas plants once stood. They must be constructed in a sunny area. Additionally, wind turbines must be constructed in windy areas. The issue is that those aren't necessarily the places where the people who require power are.

The gap between the energy source and the energy demand is about to grow significantly. Additionally, the US will require more high-voltage transmission lines. Much more.as soon as is practical. High-voltage transmission projects might take up to 10 years to complete, but solar power facilities can be constructed rather quickly. Therefore, specialists advise that we start actively creating them immediately. the electricity is distributed onto smaller grids by way of large, high-voltage transmission cables from the power plant to a substation.

Mid-Ocean Ridge

Is a seafloor mountain system formed by plate tectonics. It typically has a depth of about 2,600 meters (8,500 ft) and rises about 2,000 meters (6,600 ft) above the deepest portion of an ocean basin. This feature is where seafloor spreading takes place along a divergent plate boundary. The rate of seafloor spreading determines the morphology of the crest of the mid-ocean ridge and its width in an ocean basin. The production of new seafloor and oceanic lithosphere results from mantle upwelling in response to plate separation. The melt rises as magma at the linear weakness between the separating plates, and emerges as lava, creating new oceanic crust and lithosphere upon cooling. The first discovered mid-ocean ridge was the Mid-Atlantic Ridge, which is a spreading center that bisects the North and South Atlantic basins; hence the origin of the name 'mid-ocean ridge'. Most oceanic spreading centers are not in the middle of their hosting ocean basis but regardless, they are traditionally called mid-ocean ridges. Mid-ocean ridges around the globe are linked by plate tectonic boundaries and the trace of the ridges across the ocean floor appears similar to the seam of a baseball. The mid-ocean ridge system thus is the longest mountain range on Earth, reaching about 65,000 km (40,000 mi).
