This theory looks at the evolutionary theory to social behavior. Looking at how some behaviors could be inherited and others could be brought on or taught by social groups. Edward O. Wilson came up and discovered this theory back in 1975.

Charles Darwin's theory of evolution through natural selection is where it all started when sociobiologist started looking into this theory. Sociobiologist also believes that the evolution of sociobiology is not just genes, it also includes psychological, social and cultural features. Sociobiologist also believes that different rates of reproductive success are related to the different levels of wealth, social status, and social structures.

I believe this is the most important theory because it's literally how human interacts with each other with different behaviors and the science behind it. I believe that is it important to understand that behavior is considered inherited but it could also genetics. It's very interesting to think that these different social structures and different groups of people all revolve around how their parents acted and how they have inherited these behaviors. I believe it is better than all the other theories because it is looking at humans directly. I believe that its important because its something that we have wondered about and are now getting answers to the questions we have about behaviors and how they came to be.

Of course, this theory involves science and how genes and inheritance all play a part in human history. Science continues to change throughout the past and coming years, scientist keep discovering things about how humans interact with each other, whether that's how they act towards each other or how there are these different social structures everyone falls under. Humans are changing every day as well, so this theory just changes and improves as the humans of this world change.

An example of how survival of the fittest and sociobiology ties into the human world today or in history could be if a country is at war with another. That specific country could be more protective over their resources, trying to preserve anything that they can so nobody else could have it. This could tie into sociobiology because this could affect the way people act towards each other, not only inherited from their parents but from their social groups and such. They could become possessive or territorial over their land or resources so that the other country can't reach or attract those resources from them.
