         <title>How to be a little happier every day</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Life-it wraps us up in routines, meetings, work and school, leaving no time to do things we enjoy in order to set our minds free. If you're like me, you get tired of routines and schedules once in a while, and you want to do something to get away.<br>Here are a few ways to slow the rush of everyday life just a little bit and give you some time to enjoy the things you love.<br><strong>1. Plan</strong><br>I <em>cannot</em> stress this enough. This might be a chliché, but <em>trust</em> me, it helps. If you pick out what you want to wear the night before, pack your lunch or even do small tasks like putting filter in the coffee maker, it will ease your mind, since you'll know that the arduous task of getting ready in the morning has just been made a tad bit easier. In fact, it has been scientifically proven that people who plan ahead the night before <em>not only </em>get a better good night's sleep due to lack of stress, but also will help you wake up stress-free. (It might even give you a little extra time to sleep in).<br>2. <strong>Touch everything once</strong><br>This is a golden rule my mother always used to tell me. This rule basically says that if you use something, you should automatically put it back in its place, rather than leaving it on your counter, desk, or bed. This golden rule will allow you to have a neater work or home environment in which you can relax. Recent statistics have shown that having a neater room/home decreases the amount of stress a perosn has.<br><br>3.<strong> Make lists<br></strong>Studies have shown that making lists about things you have to do can reduce stress and will actually help you achieve your goals.
