I did a survey to forty four students for the 6/6 English Class . This survey is about movies. Some of these questions are to know which movies they like or how often do they go to the cinema. I chose this topic because I like to watch movies.

Background
There are 10 questions in my survey; 5 wh. information questions and 5 yes/no questions. They are:
  1. What's your favorite movie genre?
  2. How often do you go to the cinema?
  3. Who is your favorite actor or actress?
  4. Which movie did you watch for the first time?
  5. What's your favorite movie now?
  6. Do you like to go to the cinema with your friends?
  7. Have you watched "A nightmare on Elm street" movie?
  8. Do you watch indian movies?
  9. Do you want to be a movie director?
  10. Do you like Robin Williams' movies? 

Methodology
Based on a quantitative methodology; I did my surveys in both ways: on paper and digital. There were some students that didn't answer it on digital so I looked for them in classes and they answer it on paper. That's the way I got the results.

  • By around 11 students said they prefer to watch movies about romance representing 25% of people surveyed and 33 students said they prefer other movie genre, that is to say, 75% of students.
  •  The majority of students sometimes go to the cinema representing 32% of sample of people.
  • There are differents actors that people said like but some students (4 to 3 students) said that their favorites ones are Johnny Depp and Leonardo Dicaprio.
  • By at least 11 students don't remember which movie watched for the first time, this representing 25% of sample of student.
  • Also I got different answers for the fifth questions. The students have watched different movies but by at least 7 students said that their favorite movie is Avenger, representing 16% of people surveyed.
  • There are 43 students like to go the cinema with friends but 1 student don't like it, representing 2% of sample.
  • In my case "A night on Elm Street" is one of my favorites horror movies but this is not the case for my classmates. Only 15 students have watched it, representing 34% of sample.
  • Indian movies are good but the majority of students don't like to watch indian movies and only 13 students like to watch it, representing 30%.
  • This question was funny and so random. Only 9 students want to be a movie director and 35 students don't want to be a movie director, representing 80% of sample.
  • I love Robbin Williams' movies and it seems that my classmates also like his movies. I mean, 33 students, representing 75% of sample, said that they like Robbin Williams' movies, while 11 students said they don't like his movies.
