My name is Gabriel Hernandez I am 22 years old and this is now my second year at MSSU. Before that I was attending Crowder College in Neosho and then transferred to MSSU in the spring of 2022. A little about me is that I was born and raised here in Missouri but my parents are from Mexico. I am a first generation college student so there are many expectations I want to live up to. I have 2 younger sisters Lupita(17) and Sophia(6). At first I was a little lost on what I wanted to major in but received inspiration when looking back on my high school days and experiencing a select few amazing teachers. Not only were they passionate about their material but about being able to share it with others as well. My current major is obviously education but I am looking to teach 9-12. I would also like to experienced middle school and see where I fit best. My hobbies are that of a typical guy my age, video games, movies, and social outings with my friends.
