It made me think of how much effort the museum staff have to put in organizing the museum so that it can be „user-friendly“. Before the museums were stiff, almost scary places but now they invite people to come see what is going on in them. They are changing with the society. New generations of young people learn in different way from before, they learn interactively, so the museums adapted and became interactive. And I think opening to community is a good way not only to bring people together but also to present all aspects of museum's work to them. I am a school librarian in a public elementary school. Libraries are constantly promoted and visible, but I feel that museums are not. So, I want to make a change.
