         <title>Brief History</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The order of operations was first used by a Dutch mathematician named Franciscus Van Schooten in the 1600's. In the 1800's the term "Order of Operations" became more commonly found in books. In the 1920's there was a debate whether or not multiplication should be solve first than division. In the 1960's mathematicians came to and agreement that multiplication would come first than addition, and they also began to add parenthesis to their problems.</div>]]></description>

Lets say we went shopping for a pair of sock that cost $10 each. Then we decide to stop for some food at Panda Express and the meal is $9 but we have a coupon for a $2 discount. We will find the final prices before and after saving.</div><div>(2 x $10) + ($9 - $2)<br>20 + 9 - 2 = $27 Total after Savings<br>25 total without saving<br>We saved $2 with our coupons.</div>]]></description>
