It was excellent, with engaging content and interactive exercises that made learning enjoyable. I left feeling inspired and equipped with valuable skills to apply in my work.

I would suggest dividing the Strands into 2 days Friday-Saturday) to allow participants to attend more sessions. As a leader it’s important to attend both strands. A Leadership day and an Educator day would be amazing!

The targets for most sessions in both strands were appealing so I would’ve liked to be able to attend them all. The times overlapped a little, so I feel I missed out.

Overall the boot camp was a riveting experience that provided educators with opportunities to grow and develop our knowledge of common core standards through innovation.

I really enjoyed the conference! The sessions were highly informative.

But it could be more useful

Improve time Management and the directions to the different events especially considering that a lot of participants were from out of Dubai.

It was my first time attending a Leadership Strand session. This one was by Dr Jamie Cardwell. What an enlightening session! A lot of take-aways for my classroom and department. When's the next Bootcamp? Will definitely be attending ☺️

I really enjoyed the last session with Carla the session was really good I would drive back to attend a session like that and she even shared the presentation with everyone to use if they wanted and she shared real resources best one in my opinion

It was a pleasure attending your session today! I truly enjoyed the insights you shared and found many parallels between our teaching approaches. You were so vibrant! Your knowledge was very inspiring!

1- IT and student support should be available in a larger quantity on campus

2- Computers and Wifi should be readily available and passwords should be sent out to facilitators for in class devices + wifi password to attendees in the confirmation email

3- In September 2024, all facilitators were given the box with the gift plus a certificate however this year facilitators were only given a certificate and hosts/ leaders were given a box- everyone should have got the box with the plate/ award as time/ money and effort was invested by facilitators in this out of this from their own pocket. I feel this was a disappointment as we worked hard and should have received atleast that award/box.

4- A clear map should have been displayed where each room is and which facilitator should be in which room

5- An email should have been sent to facilitators to let us know how many and who is attending each session for preparation purposes and what exactly our room would look like (auditorium style or collab class style)

6- As a show of respect facilitator lunches should been sent to their rooms as they were either busy teaching or setting up and many missed the chance plus water/ beverages should have been available for the facilitators in each room

7- Time management esp keynote speakers- they threw off the schedule which had a domino effect.

Overall a good experience but these elements would have made it even better. Honest feedback goes a long way.
