They think that giving up is not an option.

Now that they have been found they are not starving as they are getting lots of supply drops.

Vern Unsworth

Vern is an experienced cave diver who has been to Tham Luang multiple times. He is addicted to cave diving and he is a very important character to rescue the boy.

Major Hodges

Major Hodges has been commander stationed in Japan. He is new to commanding a squadron, but his years of training have taught him about good leaders.

He gathers as much information in the beggining.

Assembles a strong team with the right expertise.

He listens to many ideas about solving the problem.

He also isn't very bossy and let's other people lead if needed.

Overall, these characteristics make him a great leader.

He is not a " My way or the highway type of leader."

The best part of all, his personality is similar to Coach Ek, so the boys will like him very much. The characteristics of Coach Ek are great, so Major Hodges should be a very likable character.

The Navy Seals

The Thai Navy Seals have shown that they are willing to do whatever it takes regardless of what they have to go through. They do supply dives to give food and are willing to dive on their own. They don't like the British divers and don't agree with what they say.

A-Team

The A-team consists of two members, Rick Stanton and John Volenthen. They are close to being celebrities, and they hold a good share of cave diving world records. They are the Rescue teams last hope for this rescue, and one of their only. They want the boys to end up safe and are eager to start the rescue. They aren't in it for the fame or recognition, but they just want to help people and ensure their safety.

Jason and Chris are one of the best cave-diving duo ever! They both have went into the deepest cave in the western hemisphere along with other divers they are one of the most well-known divers ever.
