Passing on traits from one generation to another, its why offspring look like their parents. In my own words its basically passing off some special looks or abilities from parents off to there kids. It reminds me of hand me downs when you have a older brother and you get his clothes that now that fit you. I Really get it.

In my own words its like the same as heredity but little different because its something being passed on to the children from a parent that is unique to them. It reminds me of some parents being tall and there kid ends up being tall as well because the parents had that characteristic. I really get it.
