This is my favorite photograph because it was one of the first times I ever tried to take a photo with a more artistic frame of mind. Before this point, I usually just pointed the camera in the direction of the thing I wanted a picture of, and then snapped a photo. This time, however, I was really trying to frame the photo as a piece of art, rather than just trying to get a picture to save as a memory. I dealt with a great feeling of loneliness as my social interactions were limited to the people I saw on my screen. Everyday I'd take a second to gaze at the ever so careless birds; however, I noticed how one of them always sat on that rusting railing by itself. I identified with that bird, I felt that in our solitude we understood each other in some weird telepathic way. The solitude didn't last long though. In came a friend and suddenly they weren't alone.
