         <description><![CDATA[<div>At the Estates General meeting the 3rd estate was in defiance of the other 2 estates, but they knew they would be out vote so when they went for a break they came back to find themselves locked out of the meeting. Instead of just waking away they went to the nearby indoor court and assembled. At the tennis court they swore an oath to "never separate until a written constitution was established". In the end the 1st and 2nd estates were forced to join the 3rd and they made the National Assembly.</div>]]></description>

San Martin led 5,000 men into crossing the Andes until they eventually ended up in chile.
