For example, I attached TeachTowns Social Skills curriculum which is designed for students with moderate and sever disabilities. They provide a social skill curriculum for elementary school and middle school. For each targeted social skill there is a 2-3 minute video and a series of lessons to go along with it. The behavioral domains that this program targets are following rules, interpersonal skills, self-regulation and coping, communication, and friendship. A third grade teacher asked her students to fill in the blank for the question, "I wish my teacher knew..." and the results were shocking. I think this would be a good activity to do with your students to get an insight into their lives.
