I thought this connected to my theme statement because it represents a crime being/has been committed. I then chose the second photo because I wanted to show  how you actually might be happy about the deed at first and might have enjoyed doing it. Just like the smiling man in the photo.
The third, fourth, and fifth photos I chose because I wanted to show that the happiness that was felt is brief and that consequences aren't far behind. I felt like they showed how you later feel guilty and wish you could go back and undo it.
