Hello this is Chris from Austria. I am surrounded by mountains and beautiful nature - despite the fact it keeps raining for 2 months now. I am a teacher and my majors are finance and accounting. Besides I am a tennis and ski/snowboard instructor and love to play competitions. Hello my dear cource gollegues!

I am looking forward to meet you all in a beautiful Guadeloupe! I am lucky to join Rita's cource again. And I already know we will share a great excperience together in very beautiful surroundings.

I live in Oulu, Finland and I work in elementary school as a class teacher. I do feel I have been doing the right profession for last 20 years, but I really need something extra to keep my motivation and passion up. For me it means international projects as part of my job and many outdoor activities during my freetime. I am really passionate/obsessed in flyfishing and I also do backcoutry snowboarding and kitesurfing. As a father of two sons I have had to give up some things a little, but I am happy that I still get to do things I get so much joy in my life.

Hello everyone...

I'm António Pimenta from Vila Real, in the north of Portugal. I have lived on Madeira Island for a few years and work as a librarian teacher at a primary school with preschool. Currently, I am also the Eco-Schools and Erasmus+ coordinator, developing various environmental projects with students and teachers at my school.

In my spare time, I am a beekeeper, and my bees produce the best honey on Madeira Island. ;-)

I'm very talkative and love engaging in nice conversations with friends. I am a born explorer, passionate about traveling, experiencing new places, and connecting with different cultures and their people. I am also creative, enjoying the process of coming up with new ideas, objects, and ways of seeing the world. I feel at home in the natural world.

I love to travel, meet new people, and experience different cultures.

Hello, I'm Kristi. I'm elementary teacher from Estonia. Right now I have 4d grade.

I have great family life. I have two sons, 28 years old and 9 years old.

I love spend my free time with my family. But I also like gardening, traveling, reading and crocheting.

Currently, it is berry ripening time in Estonia, and I like to make preserves for the winter. Today, I made jam from raspberries and gooseberries. Strawberry jam has also been jarred for Sunday pancake mornings.

And I’m a cat person :)

Hello everybody. My name is Magaly Ferreira and I come from the island of Madeira (Portugal), an island known as the "Pearl of the Atlantic", where the sea, warm weather, good cuisine and beautiful nature are part of our tourist attractions. 
I am a Childhood Educator, I work with children aged 5/6 at a school in Funchal, the capital of the island of Madeira. 
I really like my profession, but I admit that I would have liked to have chosen the profession of Hostess, as I love traveling, getting to know cities and new cultures. I am a sociable person, I like interacting with people, I like the beach, cinema and sport. I am motivated to get to know the island of Guadeloupe and take this training to learn relaxation and teaching strategies to be able to apply with my students. My name is Marianela and I am from Venezuela. I live on Madeira Island, located off the coast of Portugal, which has natural beauty and captivating landscapes. I'm an arts teacher. I like what I do, because I help my students to find other ways of expressing themselves, to discover their creativity, ways to develop potential, such as imagination, sensitivity and affection. Hello, I'm Celia Vitorino, specialized teacher. I was born and studied in Lisbon and after finishing my first cycle teaching course I worked in Porto for a year. In 1996 I decided to come and visit Madeira and came to teach on this wonderful island. 
In 1997/2000 I specialized in multi-disabilities and started working with children with disabilities. I fell in love with the island and ended up choosing to stay in Madeira. For 8 years I worked as a specialized teacher. I taught pedagogy, pedagogical practices and was the coordinator of the kindergarten assistant course and in 2001 I became the pedagogical director of the training school. Meanwhile, I got married, in 2004 I became a mother for the first time and started working solely as a specialized teacher. In 2009 I became a mother of a girl again and chose to start working at a primary school. In previous years I worked in secondary education. I consider myself a hardworking, upfront and dedicated person.

Hello everybody. I'm Isabel from Madeira island, Portugal, a small island located in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean considered the jewel of Portugal.

I am a first cycle primary school teacher, on a single teaching basis, with 37 years of experience.

Currently, I am a support teacher and work with students aged 6 to 10.

I like being a teacher and my great motivation for working in teaching is being able to contribute to the training of future citizens of our society.

I am an empathetic, good-natured, fighting and persistent person. I like to live and lead life with joy and hope.

I love traveling and discovering new places, new people and cultures, reading, listening to music and spending time with my big family.
