Good Evening my all classmates I'm Kanwal, a mother of three working as a technical support consultant at Rogers communication, Living in Ajax, Ontario. I hold a Master's Degree in psychology with a diploma in child educational psychology and counseling from my hometown. I also hold the Office Administration Executive Diploma from Seneca College with Honors

I worked as a school teacher and academic coordinator too. I want to pursue my career in the school field again because I know how difficult is this to handle and manage kids with learning difficulties. So I want to get some sound knowledge in this field to serve again with a better understanding of certain skills and software.
I love to spend quality time with my kids, do their chores, and understand their needs. My great desire is to go Skydiving.

Hii everyone! My name is Kaitlin but everyone calls me Katie :) I am 25 years old and currently live in North Bay, ON. I just finished the DSW program through Cambrian in December and wanted to further my knowledge and employability by taking this program as well! I have worked as a respite worker through CHAP in Sudbury, I have nannied and babysat for children of all different abilities, and more recently have been one-on-one support for children who experience life with disabilities within the childcare center I currently work at. Random fact: I have a wonderful 3 and 1/2 year old son who I am raising by myself and funny enough he's actually how I ended up getting my job at his childcare center which has been the best employment opportunity I've ever had to date!

Hello, my name is Sydnye! Since I was sixteen I was working with individuals with exceptionalities, it has always been a passion of mine. My educational background started in pre-health science at George Brown, I then went to school to be an Early Childhood Educator at Sheridan. After working in the field I found a passion to learn more about ABA, which brought me to Humber for my Honours Bachelor of Behavioural Science, graduating in 2021. People think I'm crazy for jumping back into school after doing seven years of it, but I'm here again!
I love watching crime documentaries, I think I've watched every single one off of every streaming service, but I can't get into crime podcasts for some reason.

Hello. My name is Christina and I live in Alliston ON. I graduated from the Social Service Worker program at Georgian College in May 2022. I currently work as a part time grief counsellor at a Hospice and I am also employed with the school board and a pre school as a supply teacher. I work alongside students with ASD and physical disabilities. I love to learn and I am excited to dive into this program. My end goals are endless, as I like to change up my profession every couple years, it keeps life interesting. I am a mother of 2 young girls and they keep me on my toes. Looking forward to diving into this program.

Hello, my name is Gloria and I live in King City, ON. I work at Seneca College as an assistive technologist for the last 7 years and it is my dream job. I have taken my Teacher of Adults at Cambrian and now this program helped to get me recently hired into a full time position. I am Mom of 2 and Grandmum of 4. I love crafting in my spare time. A random fact about me is that I was volunteer for the Pan Am/ Para Pan games in Toronto and I got to carry the torch. I am looking forward to studying with all of you.

Hello, my name is Shlomit. I have a journalism degree and an early childhood education diploma, and I also took some courses on autism, expressive arts therapy, and arts education. Throughout my varied work experience, I have most enjoyed being involved with a program or organization that’s supporting, inspiring, or empowering others in some way. Most recently, I supplied as an ECE in kindergarten classes at TDSB schools, and I also volunteered in a few special education classes. I'm interested in exploring how I could further support those with learning exceptionalities so they can reach their full potential.

My passion for the arts began when I was a young child, and I’ve created songs, poems, short stories, and visual art pieces. I’m working on making some of my arts pieces available in combination with various products through an online marketplace.

Hi there :) My name is Brianne and I am so excited to be enrolled in this course.

I am a mother of these two beautiful girls ( I apologize, I dont have many selfies) but this photo really represents who I am, as they are my world.

I have my social work diploma through College Boreal and have worked in the social work field since 2014.

Currently, I am on maternity leave and wanted to take this program to pursue a different career path. I work for the Rainbow Disctrict school board as a noon hour supervisor but would love to apply as an EA.

I am looking forward to furthering my knowledge with this course and learning new skills.

Hi everyone, I am Sebena. I currently live in the Greater Toronto Area but am looking to move to Montreal shortly (fingers crossed!). I completed my BA in Psychology at the University of Ottawa in French and English and recently completed my MEd. I have always been passionate about disability, leading me to pursue the Graduate Certificate in Learning Disabilities at Cambrian.

Hi everyone, my name is Domenica pronounced Doh-men-ih-cah. I graduated from the University of Guelph last December with a BA in Classics, Studio Art, and a minor in Italian and am currently in the process of applying to teachers college at UBC. I applied to this program because I had a lot of difficulty when I was in school and feel that having personal experience always helps you understand better so, I am going into education and would like to be able to help individuals with varying abilities. Eventually I would also like to complete a graduate certificate in Autism Spectrum Disorder but, one thing at a time! I currently sit on a board of directors for my local Community Living and am very interested in educational pathways and success. I have been working with individuals with both physical and intellectual disabilities since I was in high school and have a huge passion for their advocacy.

Fun facts: I love cooking and travelling, last winter I remodeled a work van and camped my way out west to Tofino and back!

Hello, everyone! My name is Tanya. I am originally from Ajax, ON but I am currently working abroad for SUF (Syracuse University Florence, Italy) as Field Studies Lecturer. I will be returning to Canada in the late spring. I graduated from the University of Toronto with an Honours BA in Art History and then went on to do my MA in Italian Studies at Middlebury College (Vermont). I have been working in higher-ed in various capacities for several years. I started working with students requiring academic accommodations about 10 years ago and I would like to specialize in this area in order to become a Disability Consultant. I apologize if this introduction comes a little late but I registered for classes only last week. Trying to catch up now...
Fun fact: I am a trained sommelier and used to lead wine tours in Chianti (Tuscany) to make extra money!
