It is a place that welcomes people from various diverse backgrounds and can also become the bridge to generational wealth for those who have been marginalized. However, when not given the proper guidance, higher education can become the most overwhelming experience and causes someone to doubt themselves and make them believe that they do not belong in that environment. Still, that experience can turn from bad to good with the proper guidance.
