Kevlar is made of mostly made of a plastic called poly-para-phenylene terephthalamide. It is considered a synthetic material because you have to make the plastic then you have to heat it up then you have to make the fibers then you have to weave it together to make Kevlar. uses for Kevlar are gloves, vests, jackets, and helmets. The elements in Kevlar is 14 carbon atoms two nitrogen atoms two oxygen atoms 10 hydrogen atoms the hydrogen bonds strengthen the polymer chain.
