I think that sports does improve your academic performance because it helps to open your mind.It helps your body to stay fit and making your bones strong. You will not be open to all kinds of flues if your body is strong enough. To be fit can really shape your mind and think it should benefit you. I think that sports should be compulsory because sports does not just make you fit but it has been proved that sports will help you to avoid to suffer from depression. If your mind is fresh you will always have a positive mindset/growth mindset. You will always motivate yourself and by training you can learn through failure! SPORTS teach you a lot of life lessons! You can find what you strengths are and what you not good in.Sports is about a lot of things but most of all to have fun.On Friday 24 May 2019 I was at a conference whereby the Netherlands students showed us that sports is compulsory in school and can be very helpful, especially in a subject like mathematics. She explained her activities in detail and she said something very important .She said that while learners think they are having fun, they are actually learning math. So she said that sports can really help learners in school and yes there are obviously pro's and con's for example what if a learner are hungry and you want to do activities ?So there is other factors to take into consideration if and when you want to make sports compulsory in a school.

I fully concur that sport plays an extraordinary role when it comes to the academic life of a person or child. Firstly, exercise is good for the body and mind. They say, "If you look good then you feel good, and if you feel good then you do good." I believe you can use the same principal for sport in education. Never mind which sport you participate in school, you will always get results. Runners will increase physical activity, which will sharper their focus and improve their mood and memory. Rugby players can build confident and self-esteem which will help them to have a relationship with the teacher and their peers. Which means they won't be afraid of participate in class or not giving answers to their teacher. Everyone participate in lesson more often means a good and positive teaching environment. In Gymnasium you will learn to trust the person who throw you in the air and accept help from your coach and also give help to others. This sport plus many other sports will help you create or establish a habit to regular exercise, which will help you reduce the risk of suffering from depression and stress. Pushing yourself in sport will reinforce a growth in mindset. Defeat will not take you down. You will learn how to cope bad results in school and to come to terms of these defeats. Challenges will help you become a strong and better person, and nurture you mind. With all these benefits in sport, it is logic that every child should atleast practice one sport item on school.
