Word of the day: teacher displays a word and students have to use it in a sentence.
2. What did you learn today about *specific topic*. This could serve as a summary of a lesson.
3. My favourite part of the story/character. After a story-telling/ reading lesson students write about their favourite part/character etc...
4. Writing a composition: example my favourite food. Students can attach pictures/recipes/write sentences etc...
5. New words: students pick a word from a book which they did not understand, look it up in the dictionary and write it down on the wall with the meaning next to it. They could also attach a picture/gif etc.. This allows students to learn more words.
6. To research a topic & brainstorm ideas : Example underwater creatures: students can include videos, pictures, information etc...  then write sentences about it.
7. After an outing students can write about their experience/ attach photos/ drawings etc. This could be shared with other students at school/during assembly or kept as a class memory.
8. Display a problem to the students. They have to find solutions and write them down. Then give feedback/critisism on other solutions and choose the best one/few.
9. Summary of lessons for students.   • to spell out difficult words - instant feedback is given
  • After an outing- describe the experience in one word/ what did you learn about? what was the most interesting thing you saw/learned?
  • to get to know more about each other: example: favourite colour/food, hobbies, pets, siblings, birthdays, fears - especially at the beginning of the year
  • to organise data into bar charts/pie charts etc during data handling lessons. e.g. what is your favourite colour? and then fill in a bar graph about it 
  • to recall rules/instructions. Example: What should my project include? - pictures/ word limit/ pages/ language to be used etc...then share with students in order to use it as a guide while doing their project. 
  • Can use it as a whole class/ in groups: then each group leader shares the ideas of his/her group with the rest of the class
  • to get feedback about your teaching from the students: example write one good teaching trait, what do you want more of during lessons?
