  • Think about all you’ve learned about legal and illegal drugs, using products safely, and external pressure from peers and the media. Create a public service announcement (PSA) in order to illustrate how to promote a healthy lifestyle. The PSA should include:
  • The importance of using legal drugs and products as directed
  • The negative effects of using tobacco, alcohol, and marijuana on a person’s mind, body, and overall wellness
  • Ways to combat the external pressure from the media and peers to engage in unhealthy behaviors

With your PSA you may choose to
o   Perform your PSA live in front of the class
o   Video record the PSA
o   Audio record the PSA
o   Write a script for the PSA without performing it
