         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Trump, Trade, &amp; Tantrums<br></strong><a href="https://www.nytimes.com/2017/10/19/opinion/trump-trade-and-tantrums.html"><strong>https://www.nytimes.com/2017/10/19/opinion/trump-trade-and-tantrums.html</strong></a><strong><br><br></strong>The article was about how Trump may cause businesses from small to huge may lose billions of dollars if he decided to terminate or reshape NAFTA because of his ego, something that is vital for business in 3 countries that do trade amongst themselves and save millions of dollars in goods.<br><br>This article reminds me of the course material on 'Trade' we discussed in class, how trade affects development and how FDI is a big part of trade, how  U.S. businesses sent their work to Mexico for cheap labor compared to U.S. and may cause growth in host country</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Remittances to Mexico Spike in anticipation of Donald Trumps Wall<br></strong><a href="https://www.economist.com/blogs/graphicdetail/2017/01/daily-chart-2"><strong>https://www.economist.com/blogs/graphicdetail/2017/01/daily-chart-2</strong></a><strong><br><br></strong>The article was about how based on Trump's threat of building a 'big beautiful wall' on our southern border payed by Mexico. if Mexico does not agree, Trump threatens to block remittances which Mexico can't afford to lose, but it wont be easy as Trump thinks without the consequences it will bring.<br><br>The article is relevant to the article on The Economist 'From Russia With Love' because it talks about how Mexico, similar to Tajikistan migrant workers sending home money(Remittances) to loved ones back home, also in class we spoke how Mexico thrives off remittances from natives in other countries like the U.S. </div>]]></description>

Also how these African Migrants are impacting countries and being victims of the business of slavery.<br><br>This article is relevant to the class discussion we had in class about Globalization and Migration because we spoke about how according to the World Bank migration has doubled and how these African Migrants are making an impact on sending &amp; receiving countries. Also experiences these migrants face in their destination countries.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<h1><strong>In California Wine Country, Wildfires Take a Toll on Vintages and Tourism</strong></h1><div><a href="https://www.nytimes.com/2017/10/10/business/wineries-california-wildfire.html"><strong>https://www.nytimes.com/2017/10/10/business/wineries-california-wildfire.html</strong></a><strong><br><br></strong>This article was about how Wine County's in Northern California are suffering the effects of the wildfires, not to mention tourism which is a multibillion-dollar economic industry which has effected of course tourism and jobs around the area causing major losses of attractions which attracted 23.6 million visitors to the affected areas.<br><br>This particular article is relevant to our class discussion on tourism because these Wine county's brought millions of visitors to the state of California before the fires. With California being the 4th largest wine producer globally, it automatically brought people from all over for the <em>bars</em> and wine tasting.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<h1><strong>Why is Bulgaria's population falling off a cliff?</strong></h1><div><a href="http://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-41109572">http://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-41109572</a><br>This article was about how Bulgaria's population is shrinking, partly due to no opportunities in the country whatsoever. villages &amp; towns have been shrinking and young people leave due to the government not caring about them, Bulgarias government wants to stop depopulation by offering help with child care or mortgage support.<br><br>This article is reminds me of the class discussion of the discussion &amp; material we had in class about Bulgaria.  Due the fall of communism &amp; the lack  of competitiveness, there is no jobs for the young Bulgarians who leave the country for better jobs leaving Bulgaria with 'Brain Drain'.</div>]]></description>
