  • Use the language in your daily life. Read, write, or actively listen in your target language daily. This not only helps to instill habits, but also acquates yourself with the language and makes learning it more natural. 
  • Set attainable goals for yourself, so you don’t lose focus of the big picture of learning the language long-term. 
  • There has been research that it is beneficial for schools to implement learning languages in non-language related subjects, for instance, a math class taught in spanish. This route can help make learning the language more vocabulary and communication based rather than grammar focused, thus making learning new languages less daunting for new students as the grammar is learned through implementation rather than a formula. 
  • Traveling abroad is a great way to enhance your language learning, as it creates an environment of full immersion for the language. It will also help familiarize yourself with the culture, which is integral for in-depth understanding and comprehension of the language.
