Darcey - if you have had made some wrong decisions, a new beginning can help us to forget it. I can sit down and read to relax and clear my mind.

Sanu - getting lots of sleep and having a good rest can help us feel hopeful for a new beginning.

Arlo - positive thoughts can help us to feel hopeful.

Jyothis - I feel joyful because it is my first day of year 4.

What is going on, in the picture?

Yaqub - The man and lady are talking, someone is carrying bags.

Eden - Someone carrying a bag, they are going to sell things

Arnie - Someone is carrying a bag, there are 4 people talking, man is walking away as they have left him out

Charlotte - The man is struggling to carry the blue bags, with heavy stuff in. They are helping him to carry the bags.

Why is the man carrying the bags ?

Arlo - They are going to give it away to others

Andrew - They are giving to homeless people, in China

Ebony - They could be going to a charity shop.

Class discussed how the man was carrying the bags, as he is homeless.

Andy Burnham PM, has pledged that by Christmas there should be no person sleeping on the streets. He is going to issue support for health needs, as part of a £442 million investment.

How do feel?

Harriet - It shocked me that some people don't have a home.

Sanu - How much money there is to spend on helping them. I think it could come from the bank.

Millie - It is a lot of money, they could get it from charity

Andrew - It could be the Prime Ministers own money.

Tristan - elevated and graceful because they finally have a chance to have a place.

William - excited - so homeless people do not have to sleep on the floor every night. I also feel thankful that the Prime Minister is doing that.

Lewis - thankful, for the people who help the homeless people.

Shivani - I feel grateful as people are helping others to feel better.

Lola - relieved because, if it is cold in the winter, they will have a home, and keep warm.

Some counties are making big rooms with little pods in to make sure people have somewhere to live.

There are a lot of organisations that can help homeless people.

How could you help the homeless ?

Archie - we could give them food

Harriet - you could buy them things that they need by taking them to the shop.

Evie - Give your old clothes to homeless people

Children should remember stranger danger.

Ask your adult if there is anything we could do to help.

Millie - Animals can be dangerous so we should keep them separate but they still should have some land.

Waleed - Animals were here before us so they should have as much land as they want.

Harriet - Animals have feelings too so they should have land to be free.

Shivani - Shocked because how do they keep the humans safe?

Millie - Thankful that animals are able to be free.

Tristan - Alarmed because it is dangerous for tigers to be around humans.
