Make sure you are aware of time of day and shadows
Watch the video. You will notice that some of the images in the video focus on the details of the Architectural Design not only the building itself. Its your choice to include the entire building or not.

I think the most unique thing about it is how the building is in a copperish coloring and it is owned by a bank, to represent a penny.

This building is the Flower Mound Town Hall found in Flower Mound, TX 2121 Cross Timbers Rd. This building was built around 1961 by the government to incorporate the home-rule city aspect of Flower Mound. This building is quite unique to me due to its very modern and geometric design. I also think it is inspired by an ancient architectural design used by the vikings on the longhouses. The longhouses were very long and elongated; similar to the design of the town hall.

The photograph I chose is the Flower Mound Town Hall. The Flower Mound Town Hall was recently built a few years back, it was designed by the Oxley Williams Tharp Architects who originated Fort Worth. The photo I chose captures the detail of the building and the nature outside. The architects had used different types of rocks together which seems to be molded together into the base and foundation of the building to help the support. The architects had also kept the nature in by keeping or growing the trees that was in the land before hand. I believe it was a good idea to keep the nature aspect after having to build all the pavement. I think that the building itself captures a modern theme to it as well as the matierals and shape to it also seem to capture a more classic building.

Opened in 1989, it is located on the portion of Interstate 35E known as Stemmons Freeway. The mall currently has 71 stores. I took this picture inside a few months ago because the place just looked nice so I thought it wouldn't hurt to just have a nice image to view.

Was created by Thom Mayne. An architecture museum is a museum dedicated to educating visitors about architecture in general or with a focus on a specific architectural style. I chose this building because I have visited it when I was younger. They had a unique design in the inside, with many activities for children and plenty of information in science. I loved this museum because they had fossils and I loved dinosaurs for as long as I remembered.

The hotel construction for the hotel started in 1955 and the hotel opened in April of 1959.
The architects were Welton Becket & Associates. I produced this photo because unlike the majority of the Dallas building the design is very simple. The lines in the art creates a series of rectangular designs with different sizes therefore, creating the shapes in the art.

The Reunion Tower is a 561 ft observation tower and is located at 300 Reunion Boulevard in the Reunion district of downtown Dallas. Construction began in 1976 and was opened April 15, 1978. Created by Welton Becket, this building architectural style is modern. The reunion tower is the city’s 15th largest building. The lines on the building create this effect that reminds me of a microphone. At night, it shines similar to the stars in the sky which is very unique and pleasing to the eye.

It has a total height of 829:8 meters(just over half a mile long). It was built in 2010 and was designed by Adrian Smith. This design is made out of concrete, stainless steel, and aluminum. "It has 57 lifts and elevators and the design team developed what has become known as a spiralling “Y” shaped plan, which was used to shape the structural core of the building." I chose this skyscraper because it has always been one of many places I have dreamed of visiting.

This is a photo of one side of the very large Winstar World Casino and Resort. Since first starting as a small bingo hall off I-35 in 1991 it is now the World's biggest casino. The casino is located in Thackerville, OK and was created by a collaboration between Architectural Administration Department of the Chickasaw Nation and Stromberg Architectural Products of Greenville, Texas. The exterior design of the casino consists of numerous architectural works throughout the world starting in London, England to far Asia. There are 11 different sections of the casino that represent a unique contribution to the architectural world. The section of the overall creation I focused on was the Roman Colosseum because of the building's imperfection. I loved how the architects designed the building to look like it's been aged. I also liked the statues of various gladiators since this was the purpose of this building initially in Rome. It consists of patterns of pillars and recreated openings and my attention always focuses on the large crack in the building that overlaps in the middle. I found the overall design of the building to be very creative and beautiful inside and out.

This is the Memphis Glass Pyramid, which is now owned by Bass Pro Shops. The Pyramid was originally envisioned in 1954 by Mark C. Hartz, while construction actually started in 1989, and finished in 1991. The building was originally constructed as a a giant mall building, but that idea collapsed soon after its construction. The pyramid was then used as a basketball stadium, but that stadium eventually closed as well. Finally, the pyramid was bought by Bass Pro Shops and was converted into a huge shop that resembled a small town, complete with bridges and rivers.
The architecture required to build this building must have been extremely complicated, as it is a pyramid. If its pyramid shape doesn't immediately catch your eyes, its glowing night effects will, as it glows green during the night. I chose this building to review because I used to regularly pass it on the way up to New York to see family, and I had some prior knowledge of the building's history. Unfortunately, we cannot take our trips to New York, on which we were able to see the building, any longer due to the pandemic and the vaccine restrictions.

I always pass this particular business center every time I go to the store and think it is one of the coolest buildings near me. Its currently located in Plano, TX and I like the way it looks in the morning since a majority of the building is nothing but windows you can actually see the other side if you look real close by how the morning light shines through (which is why I chose it). Interestingly enough, this particular building received the highest honor in the Low Rise Suburban Office Park category (2019 BOMA/ TOBY International Winner Outstanding Building of the year). From the website I found on this building it states that "This award not only recognizes the aesthetics of the buildings, but excellence in building management, operating efficiency, tenant retention, emergency planning and community impact". From what I could find, The building was developed by Billingsley Company in 2019, doesn't specify a date just the year. They have developed 11 buildings in the Dallas Area, which are all very neat!

The picture is taken at Dallas Baptist University. This is the chapel at the university but people have a special connection to this building. The university used to exist in Decatur Texas before it was moved to this new location on the hill in 1965. The newly moved community use to worship the Lord in open fields in harsh conditions. However, after praying for 33 years finally Lord answered the Prayer of the worshiper at Dallas Baptist University. Blessing poured upon them and they started receiving donations from believers and supporters of Christ in 1993. Finally, in 2009 chapel was inaugurated under the leadership of Dr. Cook. The person who gathered 8 million dollars for making his dream come true of building a worship center at the University. I worshiped in this chapel when I initially came to the United States and started my higher education at Dallas Baptist University. This place I have worshiped with my friends from different countries like Chile, Peru, Brazil, Taiwan, Japan, etc. These moments were special for me because now that I might not be able to see those friends again. This was the reason I choose to take pictures of this chapel. The reason behind choosing nighttime is the white color of the chapel that is complementary to the darkness of night. The beauty of this Chapel is that it is visible anywhere one goes on the whole campus.
