One thing that might make learning even more effective is incorporating more interactive activities or real-world applications. Sometimes, seeing how a concept applies outside the classroom helps reinforce understanding. Group discussions, hands-on projects, or like real-life case studies could make lessons even more engaging and memorable. Providing more feedback on assignments would help us know what we’re doing well and where we can improve.

Sa Facebook ma'am, ayoko talagang nag a-add ng teachers ko kasi hahahahahahahahaha ayokong nakikita yung mga pino-post/share ko. 😭 Pero kasi, ayoko kitang makalimutan. Gusto ko kahit nasa college na 'ko, updated pa din ako sayo ma'am torno hahahaha.

Gusto ko pong makita kung paano ka nag su-succeed in life, and kung paano mo pa mas lalong na i-inspire kung mga students na kagaya ko. Ang galing mo ma'am torns. Hindi lang because of acads, isa na din sa reasons yung na inspire mo kaming mga students mo and napamahal din kami sayo. Ayun siguro yung pinaka fulfilling na pakiramdam? Nakaka proud ka ma'am.

Sobrang Grateful po ako sa inyo, and swerte nang mga upcoming students na ma ha-handle mo ma'am, for sure kapag end of school year na naman, katulad namin, mahihirapan din silang mag let go. i'm pretty sure ms. torns you are one of the 3 teachers in ntc that focused on understanding rather than memorization in a subject.

despite these challenges, you manage to make learning more meaningful. the way you encourage us to think critically and express our thoughts in a coherent manner is something i truly admire. you don’t just focus on right or wrong answers you push students to explain their reasoning, this skill is invaluable, not just in school but in life, and i hope you continue emphasizing it in your teaching.

i can't think of anything to improve your teaching ma'am, but it might be incorporating exercises where students actively practice structuring their responses like debates. more opportunities for constructive feedback on how we express our thoughts could also help us refine our articulation skills over time. being able to make up a coherent answer in real time is a very useful skill in life.

anyway, that’s all. keep doing what you do, ms. torns, you’re doing great. don’t stress too much, drink water, and maybe let your next students breathe a little in class. but seriously, thanks for being one of the good ones.

On a serious note, I would like to thank Ma'am Torno for being our subject teacher from Philosophy up to MTCT. Isa po talaga yung subject niyo sa mga pinapakinggan ko nang mabuti kapag discussions kasi hindi lang po kayo nagtuturo ng mga nakalagay sa ppt, you also apply real-life situations so that students can relate to it. Keep doing that ma'am kasi sobrang nakakatulong po sa amin yun para maintindihan lalo yung bawat lesson.

Sobrang thankful din po ako sa mga student teachers na kasama niyo po kasi na-possess din po nila yung qualities na meron kayo, they make learning fun and engaging for the students too. Dahil po talaga sa pagtuturo niyo at sa mga activities niyo, na-realize ko how much I love being a HUMSS student. I may not be one of the active students in class but I'm definitely sure that I learned a lot from Ma'am Torns and Sir Charles' discussions. Magagamit po talaga namin lahat ng tinuro niyo in the future!

As the school year comes to an end, I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you.

Throughout the years, I've had many teachers, but you're genuinely the one who left a lasting impact on me. You're someone I really look up to. Your classes were never just about dates, events, or lessons. Through them, I learned to think more deeply about morality, justice, politics, and the world around me.

I discovered a genuine interest in Political Science because of your influence, and I'll be pursuing it in college soon. Looking back, I don't think I would have reached this decision without the inspiration and guidance I found in your class.

Thank you for sharing not only your knowledge but also your passion and principles with us. You helped shape the way I think, and I will carry those lessons with me in life.
