On Tuesday, September 15, our school will celebrate International Dot Day, inspired by The Dot by Peter H. Reynolds. This day encourages students to be creative, take risks, and remember that every masterpiece begins with a single dot! Students are invited to wear dots to school as we celebrate creativity together.

Welcome back! We're excited to kick off a new year of learning and fun in Art, Music, PE, & Library! During the first few weeks, students will learn classroom routines, build friendships, and enjoy engaging activities as we get ready for a fantastic year together.

Please help me make sure your students are wearing or bringing tennis shoes to wear to P.E. this year. Crocs, slides, sandals, UGGs, etc. are not going to be allowed per HEB ISD policy.

Library

Every classroom comes to the library once a week. Check with your child's teacher to see what day your student comes to the library.

Water Bottles

Water bottles are not allowed in P.E. unless specifically required on a students IEP or from a doctor's note.

Doctor's Note

If your student has an injury and requires a doctor visit, please share the note with Nurse Calabrese and she will share the information and restrictions, if any, with me. If your student has a minor injury that doesn't require a doctor visit, just send a note with them or shoot me an email at landonlane@hebisd.edu and I am more than understanding. If your student is still in pain after 3 days, please send a doctors note.

Little Kids Rock

The Bedford Beats is our 6th Grade "rock" band. Students learn to sing and play modern band instruments like Guitar, Electric Guitar, Electric Bass, Keyboard, and Drums.

Tryouts are Monday, August 24 during recess!

Notify parents on Wednesday, August 26!

We celebrate all the dogs of the BHE Bulldog families. If you want to have a picture of your dog on the "dog wall", please send a 3x5 picture. I will add it to the wall. Just make sure that it is a copy and not the original. Pets makes our lives better and are always ready to hear a good book.
