Os/as voluntários/as irão apoiar a colocação online de voluntários italianos e estrangeiros, gerir projetos internacionais de voluntariado como campleaders, preparar programas de mobilidade nacionais e internacionais (logística, agendas, etc.), realizar tarefas administrativas e criar e dinamizar campos de trabalho utilizando métodos de educação não formal.

Participarão também em sessões de informação na Universidade de Palermo e em escolas como representantes da Eurodesk, ao mesmo tempo que desenvolvem um projeto pessoal durante o período de mobilidade.

Application should be sent to esc.incoming@icye.dk Ågård Efterskole is one of many “efterskoler” in Denmark where students from 14-17 years of age live and study at the school. Ågård Efterskole has a Christian base and tries to give the students an understanding of Danish history, culture and also the contemporary society in general. The main task for the volunteer is to be a part of the school’s daily life: Helping with teaching and supervising young people at the age of 14-17 together with other teachers and help in the kitchen 1-2 days a week. Other possibilities depending on your interests could be to arrange different sports activities like volleyball, football, handball, badminton or gymnastics with students. Especially gymnastics play a big role at Ågård Efterskole and we participate in different shows throughout the year.

The volunteer will be living at the school in his/her own room and bathroom. 8 staff members live in houses placed on the school area. All meals are provided by the kitchen staff.

You will be part of an aspiring eco-village of residents, teachers, guests and students, where we all aim to participate in essential community building activities. Your room has a private bathroom. The community kitchen serves 3 daily meals made of organic whole grains, beans, seeds & local vegetables and smaller amounts of fermented foods, fruits, nuts, seaweeds, fish, shrimp, and eggs. Vegan is an option. Car service is available. Living in a community can be socially demanding, but it also provides opportunities for personal growth, healing, and deep connections with other people.

The work involves leading/assisting with various activities and workshops, organizing training sessions, and running the center in Osówek (gardening and technical work, meal assistance, etc.). The Morena center also organizes off-site training courses and workshops, as the center has 30 beds and three workshop rooms. Volunteers help lead classes and training sessions, conduct some workshops for the local community and other guests, and assist with the running of the center. Volunteers also spend approximately 20% of their time in Gdańsk and on other trips, during which they lead off-site activities, workshops, and assist with other Morena activities in Pomerania. Through “Youth for a Better Future,” we aim to foster social cohesion by promoting a sense of belonging within the local community and European space, advocating for equality among community members, and encouraging active participation in decision-making at all levels. Volunteers will support the physical development of facilities of the future youth space “Horizons.” Their primary tasks will involve engaging in physical development and arrangement of the space, which includes assembling, organizing, and maintaining facilities and green spaces. Also, volunteers will participate in preparation of materials for thematic workshops, activities, events, supporting facilitators who coordinate youth activities and working with the local community. NOTE: The volunteering opportunity is also addressed to young people living in Romania.

The volunteer will support the hosting organization to implement activities such as workshops,

events, campaigns and related activities, online and in-person events on the project topic.

1. Events and campaigns the volunteer will help organise and promote the events and campaigns

that the coordinating organisation runs related to the ESC programme topics. 2. Outreach activities the volunteer will be involved in activities covering topics such as career

developement, soft skills, European opportunities for youth, and other topics related to the

organisation's work.

3. Promotion of the values and activities of the organisation -the volunteer will promote the values

and objectives of the organisation through social networks and other communication

channels. Also, the volunteer will promote the activities on social media platforms of the

organisation. 4. Working with communities - the volunteer will help the association work with communities to

implement various activities and improve the community quality of life.

5. Maintenance and arrangement of Horizons Youth Space. Volunteers will assist in maintaining

and arranging an outdoor and indoor space dedicated to hosting and organizing volunteer

and youth activities. Tasks may include working with wood, metal, or furniture, light construction, gardening, cleaning and general upkeep. This activity supports the creation of

incdusive, youth-friendly environments.

6. Daily activities of the association.

The project begins in September and will last 10.5 months.
