Learning is such a broad and diverse topic, which means it can be interpreted in a million different ways. There's no way to pinpoint what it is to a definition. I see learning as a way of absorbing the world around you, however not everything you absorb is immediately learned and stored in your brain, I believe it is up to the person if they want to keep that information with them or let it go in one ear and out the other.

Are there multiple ways to learn something?

I think there are multiple layers of learning, that apply to anything and everything. The first layer being a basic understanding, maybe it was just a thought in your head. The second layer, is when you make the choice to absorb said information, that's when your brain stores the information and keeps it until you want to remember it. The last layer is moving forward into a full indulgence, you have a drive to learn the information, and it is kept and viewed as an important thing to know.

I think learning is happening 24/7 365, even if a person does not choose to learn, they continue to absorb information day In and day out. There are billions of things to discover and learn in this world, and it's not right to assume that our brains aren't trying to grasp and reach for any information it can get.

When taking this question at face value it could sound a lot like a dystopia where everyone is forced to learn the same standards and all take in the same knowledge, however, there are some important ideas in life that would make like amongst each other a lot more enjoyable if everyone learned them. Simple things like understanding that this is everyone's first try in life, so show grace to those around you, just that would improve humans ability co-exist.

Do you believe that learning is a lifelong process?

Just like I was saying in my other question, I believe that learning is the act of taking in the world. So I think that you begin learning the second you are born, to the moment that you take your last breath. However, learning does change all throughout ones life, it goes from learning the basic necessities, to emotions, and feelings, and then on to worldly problems and issues, and onto relearning and retrying past mistakes. Learning in life is like taking a boat ride down a river, it all moves so fast, and everyone's experience is gonna differ depending on what they choose to take in.

What are barriers to learning and how can they be overcome?

I believe that with every new thing to learn, a barrier comes along with it. Learning requires work, and sometimes the work itself is the barrier, those not willing to put in a little effort will leave the knowledge behind. Although barriers can be something larger, life's starting line is staggered for everyone, and traditional learning isn't readily available for all, so sometimes the biggest barrier standing in front of you and learning is life itself.
