Humans needed to be loyal in the past for survival. Is it something that it now less important in the 2000’s? Why or why not?

In the past, loyalty must've been crucial because in prehistoric times people hunted in tribes and there was strength in numbers. If you didn't stick with your group and if you went off by yourself you might've been killed by a wild animal or another tribe. These days you can be an adult and live by yourself and have minimal social interactions.

2. Is loyalty more important to you than “popularity” or “fitting in”? Why or why not?

Yes, because if you have no friends whats the point of fitting in or being popular. If you're not there when your friends need you they aren't going to be your friends for too long. Remaining loyal to your group is very important because you need a support system to catch you when you fail or mess up.

- Situational Irony: When Ponyboy and Johnny spend the night in a church. This is ironic because they are on the run because they killed someone, and you wouldn't expect them to spend the night in a church.
- Situational Irony: When Cherry and Ponyboy are at the drive-in movie, Cherry tells him that Socs have it rough too, which was unexpected because since Socs are rich, we and Ponyboy would expect them to have perfect lives
- Verbal/Situational Irony: When Johnny says he is going to kill the next person who jumped him, he might not have been serious, but it ended up being true. Your padlet is very pleasing to look at. I love the neat, clean, and crisp approach that you have taken. Sometimes with canvas styled padlets, they can get messy and hard to read. Also, many people choose to use loud and flashy backgrounds. I think it is very mature and appropriate that you left the padlet tidy and elegant. To improve the padlet, I would perhaps add more detail to your entries and maybe a few pictures. In conclusion, your padlet is very nice, you did a very good job with it.

Some imagery used in this poem by Robert Frost are metaphors and describing words. Frost uses metaphors such as Nature's first green is gold to describe the different seasons in nature. Imagery is also used when Frost says So Eden sank to grief because he illustrates the sorrowful story associated with the Garden of Eden.

2. Robert Frost is suggesting that the good and innocence in our world does not last long, the dawn of spring is a beautiful but short lived thing, as was the innocence of humanity before Adam and Eve picked the apple from the Forbidden Tree.

3. This poem can relate to The Outsiders and its characters because at the beginning of the novel, Ponyboy and Johnny were innocent, and golden. As the book progressed, they lost their innocence as everyone does. Nothing gold can stay, and Johnny and Ponyboy's characters in The Outsiders proves that.

Overall I enjoyed going through your padlet; although it is filled with mistakes. Just kidding. Anyways, I love how organized your padlet is. Personally I think it's a little plain with your main colours being black and white; this just being a personal preference though.
